When looking online for a place to stay while on vacation, we feel more comfortable if there are testimonials from previous guests. This page is dedicated to just that. Here are the testimonials from our guests
(from our guest book and/or emails). If you stay at our Kihei rental, please
write in our book at the condo or email us your recommendation. We love hearing from our guests! |

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful
condo with our family. It was so magical and peaceful here.
We did not want to go home :-)
Slow pace and beautiful beaches. It does
not get much better than this. The beautiful sounds of
wildlife and fresh smells in the morning air. Thank you again
for forever, beautiful memories.

We are WorldMark condo owners but thought we'd try another location
for a change and can't say anything negative about this location.
The unit was better than expected and we enjoyed the fact that we
had beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers. They were truly
appreciated for our trips to Big Beach and Kapalua Bay. Both 2
very gorgeous beaches other than the Kam beaches here close to the
condo.
It was great being close to Fred's, Moose and 808
Bistro/Deli! No need to worry about driving. This is
hockey playoffs time so Mosse was a great place to be to support our
Vancouver Canucks team, along with many other fans (Canadians) all
cheering the team. Great fun especially since the games
started close to Happy Hour!!
We truly felt like this was a home away from
home! Mahalo!

We would highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a
comfortable home in a great location in Maui. It is perfect for a
golf vacation with several courses minutes away. Elleair golf club
offers free golf during the month of your birthday. It's 5 minutes
from the condo.
www.elleairmauigolfclub.com/golf/runtime/view_teasers.php We
drove to the upcountry to the Ulupalakua Ranch Winery for a wine
tasting....pineapple wine. A beautiful country drive. www.mauiwine.com
We stopped at the little town of Paia for lunch had Ono burgers at
the Fish Market. We also recommend the drive to Haleakala Crater for
a spectacular sunrise. Stop by the Kulu Lodge on your way down if
you like roasted macadamia nut banana pancakes with coconut syrup.
The beach is right across the street from the condo. We woke each
morning to birds singing. Lots of nice places to eat. Cafe O'Lei has
nice food and great wine. Fred's, located in front of the complex,
has great Mahi fish tacos. Shopping, restaurants, great snorkeling,
longs walks, beautiful sunsets. It doesn't get any better.

While Boston was having one of it's worst winters, we were having
one of our best. We especially enjoyed living here in #367 at
Kihei Kai Nani with it's great lanai, beach furniture, and all the
comforts of home. KAM III was such a convenient and good
beach, but we all liked Makena - though not as many fish as we
expected. We got only half way to Hana but stopping at Keannu
Peninsula and eating Aunt Sandy's banana bread while we watched the
raging surf was a happy alternative.

Maui
has been a nice break from our hectic life in Seattle! We
experienced torrential rain when we arrived here in Kihei but after
that, it was sunny & clear. This condo is well equipped with
all the necessities & made our stay very comfortable. The food
around here is delicious! We recommend 808 Restaurant just around
the corner in the same area as Fred's. You bring your own
alcoholic drink (BYOB). The food there is awesome! 808
also has a deli but we didn't get a chance to try it.
The
Whales sightings are amazing & fun to watch. My husband & I
enjoyed Geocaching
here. It's a great way to enjoy nature on
various trails.
Tonight is our last night here & we just had Taco Tuesday at Fred's.
We're savoring our last hours here as we sip merlot before we head
back to colder weather in Washington.
Aloha!

Seven days of sunny 80+ degree weather! The perfect escape
from cold, rainy Portland. Thanks for making this place
available. It was perfect! Loved waking up to all the
bird sounds. Loved being able to see the sunset from the main
room. It had everything we needed to fully enjoy our trip.
Highlights:
-
Driving around West Maui (crazy roads!)
-
Sunrise at Haleakala
-
Snorkeling at Love's Beach (clear & shallow)
-
Fireworks on New Year's Eve at Wailea Beach
-
Road to Hana (hiking in bamboo forest)

September 18 - 25, 2010
Thank you for a wonderful week! It's such a cozy and well
equipped condo that is just like another home to us.
The
location is also impeccable, with lots of great restaurants and
beaches within walking distance.
*
Restaurant recommendation:
For
those of you who like sushi or general Japanese food,
Koiso is
definitely worth a try. It's tucked in the corner of Dolphin
Plaza. You may want to try booking your seats in the early
afternoon, they fill up quickly.
As
for snorkeling, we tried Honolna twice & failed miserably to the
weather. We believe on a good day, it could be heaven.
But we just didn't have the luck. Besides Molokini, our favorite is
Black Rock. Lots of fish, even turtles!

Thanks Alicia & Darryl for sharing your "Otherhome" with us!
It felt like home to us. You have thought of everything
- it's
so fully furnished.
Your
suggestions for snorkeling beaches and restaurants were right on!
Even
the waitress at
Cafe O'Lei gave us a great tip for a "fish & chips"
place - Eskimo Candy, off of Lipoa Rd. Reasonable prices and
big portions; they even have fresh caught fish to take home to
grill.
We
celebrated our anniversary at the very special "Mama's Fish House" in Paia. What a memorable experience!
We've seen the whole island - West Maui, the Road to Hana,
Haleakala, etc. and after each long day, it was great to come back
"home" to such a comfy & inviting condo.
Thanks again!

WOW!
Wedding couple leave and honeymooners arrive - think it might be
marriage season! Graham and I came here from Scotland (UK) and
it has been well worth the long journey.
The
pace of life here is exactly what we needed and the sights, sunsets,
turtles, and dolphins are exactly what we wanted! Making this
the perfect honeymoon.
The
"Road to Hana" was great. We love the "Three Bears Falls" and
the pool you can swim in. Aunty Sandy's banana bread is to die for.
If
you go to Lanai, go early and you can see all the dolphins (at least
10) they swam up and did tricks. At Turtle Beach we saw a
green sea turtle but took advice and stayed well clear as they are
protected.
Cafe
O'Lei is yummy but go hungry as the portions are big. It's
cheaper at lunch.
Haleakala sunrise is well worth the early rise!
My
favorite sunset was at Little Beach (over the rocks from Big Beach)
but G was a bit nervous because of the nudists there.
This
condo has a lovely, warm feeling which helped us settle straight in
to life here. We love the handmade frames and bought one to
take home. Love it here and we are just not ready to go
home.

We love this condo and will definitely make it back here, hopefully every

Suggestions:
-
Maui
Tacos are delicious & great prices
-
Wailea beach & Big Beach are the best
-
Lulu's is great food too
-
go to Longs Drugs for "local" flip flops
(the best)
-
Kihei Cafe is so great & to walk to, open
at 5 am, get the "perfect" papaya"

The
wedding went pretty much perfect. This island is so beautiful
and friendly. We will miss Lulu's, Kihei Cafe and the sunsets
the most. But we'll definitely be back. A lot of our
family stayed at other condos and hotels and we can see that this (Kihei
Kei Nani) is the best deal and the best equipped condo. We'll
stay here again next time.

Great value! Across from the K2 beach has
all the necessities for home cooking and a comfortable stay.

Wishing for Maui. Sunshine everywhere. P.S.
it's minus 8 degrees Celsius back home with a wind chill.

Nice condo. Well equipped (except for lack
of boogie board). Super location. Really don't have to drive
anywhere. This is the best.
Thank you for keeping it up - making updates.
Now, housekeeping could use an upgrade!
They cleaned around the furniture. Coffee maker not emptied, dryer
filter not cleaned.
We would come back. Thank you

This is our 3rd time to Maui. But our first
as a full family! All four of us LOVE it here; so much to see
and do! Hanna & Emma (our two children, girls) enjoyed it
immensely. The pullout couch was comfortable to sleep on
according to them! We all agree the KKN is a great place to
stay at and we have/will definitely recommend it. :-)
Great snorkeling, surfing and shopping and great
pool too! Thanks

Totally enjoyed our stay in this condo.
Everything need provided, some by landlord some by previous guests
for example. Not pack shave cream for 1 or 2 uses but left by
another. We wanted more Kleenex so purchased & left and some
Glad containers [minor items but make more enjoyable]. Enjoyed
lawn chairs and K-2 beach. We snorkeled every day - all over
west Maui and the crater - and none of those places all that much
better than K-2 - which is at end of driveway. Suggest check
check out left side, go over and snorkel to K-3! Enjoyed several
options available at condo; TV, CDs, beach chairs, etc. Thank you
and hope others enjoy this place also!

Great place with a lot of thought for vacationers
- igloo ice coolers for lunches, beach chairs & umbrellas. The
kitchen is really complete w/blender, toaster, dish soaps/dishwasher
detergent. Even some CDs to listen to. We had a great
stay and couldn't think of a thing that could have been added to
make it more comfortable. Much, Much, Thanx

To say that our vacation was, "The Best Vacation Ever," would definitely be an understatement! We spent the most incredible 9 days in Maui and would go back again and again. The first day, I went swimming with turtles (think Donatello, Raphael, Michelangello, Leonardo); while snorkeling, Tomi saw and photographed a shark; we even got to watch a pod of whales playing; we explored the black sand beaches at Hana and made the whole 32 miles without mishap, but the return trip did seem a lot shorter and faster!. We went snorkeling almost every day; and enjoyed some of the most beautiful golden sand beaches in the world. Our condo was close to shopping, restaurants, movies, and many tourist type places, so we didn't lack for anything to make this vacation unforgettable.

Swam with a turtle. It is our 25th wedding anniversary also.
The condo was awesome, we wouldn't change a thing. Our swims at the pool were very relaxing after a busy day. We went to 5 different beaches all very different but all very lovely. The waves at Big Beach were awesome, we will be pulling sand out for a long time.
We did the little submarine trip which was nice, the ocean center was also a lot of fun and very interesting. We took a lot of long drives thru the countryside. What a beautiful island. My husband has given a deposit for next year, lucky me. The beach chairs were the best.
Thank you so much for our stay.

Wow! How do we sum up our stay! 10 days of sun-surf & fun. We snorkeled on 2 trips - liked the Blue river Rafting company - great fun on the boat & great spots to see fish. Trip to Hana was fun in our Jeep - but could not go all the way around due to earthquake damage. Hope it has been repaired when you read this!
Had an awesome in condo massage - Mona & John were great! Mona # 808-205-8109 and John # 808-875-4369 - WOW they were 90 min. of relaxation to the max! The beach across the street is great when the trade winds blow you off elsewhere on the island, otherwise "Big Beach" was our favorite. Oh, I almost forgot we took the ATV ride thru the rain forest, Halahaku lots of fun, well almost as fun as Glamis!
Darryl & Alicia, thanks for being our forever friends! This was a good way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It is not a matter of if we come back only when and if we bring Mitch & Meg! Mahalo

Our stay at the "Otherhome" was great. It was nice having everything we needed. The view is gorgeous. The best part of the suite was the shower. It is in the perfect location with all the tourism and shops. We found Maui fabulous. The condo is great, I found the knives too flimsy. The bedroom was great. We spent TONS of time on the beaches. The food's good here, although it's hot. Thank you for sharing your lovely condo. We recommend:
We loved it here. Thanks again!

Today I went to about 3 beaches and 3 hiking trails. I went on Hana highway and there were stops.
The hotel Kihei Kai Nani was really comfortable. The room was like a house. Me, mom and my dad had a lot of fun in the trips. This is the first time being to Hawaii (not the big island). I also went snorkeling and saw many fish.

WOW! What a week! Where do I start? Well, thank you for the great accommodations!
This condo is beautiful! Right across from the beach with the most beautiful sunsets and quiet enough to really know your on vacation. It was really great to have everything one could need. It was like being at home... except with sun, beach & surf! Logan was in heaven with the satellite TV. Can leave Canada without hockey! When the sun went down & the burns settled in, it was nice to sit back here and watch some hockey! Thank you! We will hopefully be back soon.

We had a really great stay here. This condo is very well equipped - we found all we needed.
Just felt like at home! OK, sometimes a bit hot but, by using fans and opening the windows, it was bearable and after all, we come to Hawaii for the good weather, don't we? The location is really great too, close to the beach. Big and Little beaches are very nice too. To swim with turtles at the Nalvaka beach is unforgettable (go behind the rocks on the left). A special thanks for your hospitality. We look forward to coming back!

Jim & I just arrived home from Maui yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation - but... we should have stayed longer! Waking up in the morning to the
birds singing was so nice. Kihei is a great place to relax and enjoy life. We hope to be back soon. In fact Jim is bidding on a contract to supply windows & doors for a multi-duplex development in the area, and I'm "sure" that we will have to do an inspection that will take at least a week - 10 days. :)

Thanks for a great mother's week. Weather, beaches and condo, beautiful. Don't believe the stated 600 curves to Hana - a least 1,000. This is a wonderful place to practice the Art of doing Nothing. Will return home now completely relaxed and ready for the everyday challenges.
